Saved passwords don't work after new pc upgrade 1

I just installed a new pc for my boss. it is a dell p4 with windows 2000. He can't use his saved passwords when he goes to an internet site. Is there a way to copy them from the old PC to the new one? both machines running win2000 pro. old one recently upgraded.

I don't get it. Why can he not resave his passwords again? Am I missing something here? -- Devil Dog --

He doesn't remember them all so getting all of them again will be a hassle. Are there any other usefull suggestions?

THey are probably in his cookies folder on the old PC. If you can copy \winnt\profiles\BOSS' NAME\Cookies... to the new PC you can probably get them back.

Do that with his net favorites too
