Hello,
Is there any way we could save parameters supplied to a report? We are trying to track the parameters given to reports.
Thanks

Meaning that you want to output them to a table or a file for later evaluating?

There's nothing built into Crystal Reports to do so. If you're using a front end you might do so in code. And CE saves parameter info.

You've supplied very little tangible information here, at least post your software version and intent.

Thanks synapsevampire ,
I am using crystal 10 enterprise. What do u meanby saying
'And CE saves parameter info.'
The whole purpose is to track the how frequently a particular parameter is used..

Hi,
A particular parameter or a particular value for a parameter?

How are you calling the report(s)?

Within CSP you can query this information for scheduled reports:

I think that SI_DATA contains the value.

Otherwise you might be able to get this by turning on the audit, not sure.

Thanks Turkbear ,synapsevampire ,
I am looking for value for parameter..
synapsevampire!what do u mean by CSP?

Sorry, the CSP Query Builder.

server>/crystal/enterprise/websamples/en/query/ie.csp

You may have to adjust the enterprise portion of the URL as well.

This is assuming that you have the Client Samples that CE 8/9 had installed.

Turk: Can you confirm or deny?
