Save As - how to expand the choice ?

hi,
by default, when ''save as'' i get the following (picture):

a time before i saw a tip how to change these 5 icons (decreasing the size) and to add some new icon or text.
i lost this advise, so please, any help will be welcome.

let me explain a little bit more: i want all these five icons plus same by my chose e.i. ''Disk E:'', ''SQL scripts'', ''Tek-Tips archive'', ''Bla bla...'' etc.
i have in my mind something about modify the register .....

Are your thinking about a Office setting? Take a look at

I do not believe there is an similar function in other applications and the windows shell at this time.

Hi ReTeMa,

It is my understanding that this facility is only available for office applications at this time.
