I have a customer who really wants me to help him with his Electra Elite. My version of SAT is too old to program this system. I noticed there haven't been any threads on the subject in a couple years - story of my life, we get all the cheap customers with old phone systems. Recommendations in previous threads give places to buy the software, but it's discontinued/out of stock everywhere. Anyone know where I can get a hold of the latest version of SAT?

You can program that system through one of the two attendant phones (first two ports in the system) Most techs use that method since the SAT requires a special card in the system (MIF) and you first have to download the entire database, make your changes then upload the entire database. Programming manuals can be downloaded for free at The only advantage to the SAT is that you can get a back up of the database.

I really appreciate the reply, and the suggestions!

The reasons you give for using the keyset to program are valid for all other Electras I have encountered. This site is a perfect illustration of a site where SAT would help, I am sure you have encountered one of these. Another dealer (who no longer exists) set it up and who knows how it's programmed. It's got a PRI/DIDs, ARS has been set up, ACD for tech support, a screwed up numbering plan... its got it all!
I need to keep myself from screwing something up, and give qualified answers to the customer's questions. Without SAT I would be forced to fill out an entire book of programming record sheets from the keyset, at which point a CAT5 noose hanging from the server rack would be tempting...LOL
I appreciate your suggestions, and my plan is to use SAT only when I have to (I am familiar with its clunkyness). I am still going to have to make notes and flowcharts, but SAT will be a huge time-saver for me here.

FYI: There is a MIF and I was able to connect but received the software match error from my older version of SAT.

So SAT v4.7 is used to program a CPU with 9.60? I figured it would match or exceed the system software number. Anyway, thank you very much sir!

Unlike the 8100 or 8300, the MAT/SAT program version is not the same as the CPU software version. When you start up the SAT it will ask if it's for EE or IPK and if it's before CPU version 9000 or after.
