Well, let me explain :

A) I work on Networker 7.1.2 on W2K server
B) My server is called xx-yyyyy-zzz
C) His FQDN is xx-yyyyy-zzz.aa.mycompany.com

In the networker server list i can see :
- xx-yyyyy-zzz
- xx-yyyyy-zzz.aa.mycompany.com

When double clic on them, it brings me to xx-yyyyy-zzz server.

My question is : Why i have two entries ????
How can i suppress xx-yyyyy-zzzz to only keep the FQDN ?

Thank you for your help.

NetWirker corrects the name ersoulution by itself. But as far as i remember, this also changed a bit. The last time i paid attention to this i think he behaved as follows:

- if you use the short name NW will create to entries.
- if you use the FQDN, he will just stay with one entry.
and put both names in the alias field.
