Samba, nfsserver & ports

Hi all,

I need to setup samba on 1 machine, have that machine mount a drive that is on the main server and then use samba to share the mounted drive across NT clients.

I remember some stuff to watch out for when using nfsserver & client when using smb deamon also.

Can both run at the same time ?
Should I setup some priviliged ports or something similar?
