samba 2.2.7 RH9 - unable to access linux printer from Win/NT

I don't know what the source of the problem is, but it seems to be the same with XP seeing linux printers also. Here is a very ugly fix you can try. Open /etc/samba/smb.conf and add the following to your [printers] section:
print command = lpr -P %p -o raw %s -r
lpq command = lpstat -o %p
lprm command = cancel %p-%j
You will need to restart samba. When you run the wizard again, enter the printer's share name manually i.e. \\server\printer. You will not be able to see the printer or print queue. That is why you need to enter the location and name manually. Now if you print a test page, it should work.
