I'm having a problem trying to save trans, after issuing the command I get a message back that says "system error, please try again later" I'm also showing a DLY-MTCE 542 aux 0. I checked all settings under sys maint, time 1 to 6, save daily, comm timeout 2hrs, update lsp's yes. If I do a list history I get a "TRNERR: -30005" qualifier next to save trans. This has been going on for a couple of days. Anyone run into this before. Thanks in advance.

-30005 = System error: Reboot

you may have some kind of corruption, I'd have it looked at. The error implies a reboot, but that won't necessarily fix corruption (but sometimes it will clear it)

What 'server' command says? Standby server is up and O.K.?

Thanks for your responses, had a case opened and at this time it's been kicked up to the corruption group by tier 3.
I'll let you know what the resolution is once I get one. Unrelated, does any one how to access the ipsi boards remotely on an ip connect. Tried telnet from linux and am getting "connection refused" Is service port only way?

Thanks

have you tried doing a status login?, there may be someone else logged on and in a change command preventing the machine from normal maint routines.

In order to login to the IPSI's you need to use "telnetenable" command on the linux of the S8500/S8700. I do not remember the exact syntax but you need to use this command to enable the telnet client on the IPSI's

Petran.
