S8700/G700 SNMP help

My question deals with how SNMP traps can be handled. When a G700 generates a trap and we set the G700 SNMP seWe have a dual S8700 with G700s located in another locationttings to send the trap to the S8700s, what does the S8700 do with that info? Can you make the S8700 show the G700 traps with the command "Disp Ala"? Do SNMP alerts that are S8700/G700 related get reported to Avaya over the Inads line?

I have set up a G700 in my lab, and set the SNMP parameters to send the traps directly to my HP Openview system, this works fine.

I know that I can set the G700 to send SNMP info to multiple IP addressess ie. S8700 and HP Openview, has anyone done this successfully? If I do send the G700 traps to the S8700, will the S8700 forward the traps to HP Openview if I set the Trap Manager in the S8700 to send the trap info to HP oenivew? Any one that has used the trap managers in the 8700/G700 please let me know what your experience has been. Thanks.
