S8700 and th ipsi Card

I have just installed my first S8700 and i am having problems with the ipsi card. i can ping the card from th system and i have upgraded the firmware to v12 but when i run a test on the port it comes up with no board installed and in the show cir page i am see no cards. can anyone advise!!!

are you on dhcp or static - go to the ipsi and type show control interface and confirm whether it is static...also reset the system, it may help. Have you done all the setting in the s8700 - add cabinet, add ip-serv etc..
