Is there any good docs on how to setup trunking between
S8300 MM720 & Video unit ( in this case its Polycom )
using 3 channels BRI Channels to an IMUX

Trunk grp 20 built as ISDN (protocol a )

trunk grp 20 (members)

002v201
002v217
002v202
002v218
002v203
002v319

Video tech has tried different settings of AT&T PTP ,
AT&T multi point I have reset MM720 as well
no data modular is attached or built

just curious as I have no working reference in the US to refer to and the only working ones are in Europe as I have no access to find out how those units are setup > fyi they are using protocol c in thier trunking .....any assistance
or helpful things to look out for I have looked at Avaya
website for an application doc or setup without much results

Thanks for any and all posts

cheers :)

I called back to Verizon and was told we accept data calls ( 56k / 64k )and should not be an issue must be a setting in the PBX - also called Avaya Video Polycom unit once again and they said service type public-ntwork is
ok and have never had an issue with set to this type
even asked his mentor > I even had them check all trunks
groups used for Polycom testing ( set to Tie on 2 & public-ntwork on the other 2 )

Data Module Cor 11 ( frl 1) ,cos 1 Data Privacy set to y

route pattern using Frl 0 NPA 212 (NY) prefix - 1

here is a failed trace

using 2 Polycoms to test - located in same site using MM720

Able to call to and from Polycom to Polycom via IP Addresses
does not use S8300 resources as its IP to IP

Able to call to and from each Polycom unit via Data Module
extension number to extension number ( Stays in S8300 )

able to call into both Polycom units from avaya site
able to call into both Polycom units from another off site
using MM710 (Ds1 with DID # - to MM720 - Polycom units

get the denial event 1367 when trying to call out 9+ number
should not be a cor issue as ts ithe same as the stations to allow interstate , Long Distance ,International calling

Cheers:)
