RVA Issue 2

I am trying to record RVA messages on my BC11 system. After entering the ext to get in and entering 2*21# the display comes up rejected. This also happens when I try to listen to the messages. Any idea why?

Did you try 1*1# to listen from message 1?

Yep, I get rejected trying to listen or record any announcments. I even tried to listen to empty announcments (# that I was not using) to test and the display said the their were no messages recorded for that announcment.

About two months back the anns were going crazy. the Announcments were mixing up for each ACD group. THe program units were restarted and the issue was resolved.

So the program units might need a restart again!
As this is not normal maybe you should get it fixed by maintenance operator.

All I know is that some releases (do not know exactly which) of the VSU only work well with compression turned on in command RAEQI (initiating the board).

an rfboi of the VSU should you get rid of the "rejected" error. it could be that there are too many messages on the VSU , if this is the case, the VSU will block regularly. Are you using VSU1 or VSU2?

Vsu1. I tried RAEQI and it worked. How ever all my ACD's went busy. I ran it again and they started working again. That was a sweaty 10 minutes! Thanks for your help!
