quick question. We presently have two 5.5 sites in our 5.5 Org. Our domain consists of a root domain and two mixed mode child domains. We've stood up an Exch2k3 cluster in domain A. As part of the migration, site B will be retired and all the mailboxes will be moved to the cluster. All users who are associated with mailboxes in site b, have user accounts in one of the child domains.
My question is, after installing the first 2k3 server as a connector server and SRS sever, we built the cluster. We now have two RUS services (enterprise one, and one for domain a).
My question is, do I need a RUS for domain B? All the mailboxes will eventually live on the cluster which will be in domain A but user accounts for some of those mailboxes will be from domain b.
Hope this makes sense. If I do need another RUS, can it be created on the same server where the present 2 entries live?
