Runtime exec of .exe. Is it possible to not have the dos prompt come u

Hey there

Just wondering if it is possible to not have the command prompt come up to the when i run an exec() function that pings a pc.

I have a schedule which runs constantly which bring the dos prompt to the screen for a mere millie second. The only thing is that because of the frequency i am constantly seeing prompts.

Is there any way to hide them?
