Runtime error 430

I'm trying to run a standard exe that I wrote/developed on a Win98 machine on a network that has a hodge-podge of Win95, Win98, and WinNT (we even have a few MS-DOS machines for server access -- archaic, but fun). The program runs on a two or three Win98 machines, but none of the others. I tried updating MDAC on several of the machines, but it doesn't help.

The program itself is on the server. I don't understand why it would work on a few computers, but not others.

Any ideas?

Have you tried istalling DCOM98?

No, but thanks, I'll whine at our network services department to install it. They tend to get huffy and upset when I do it myself.
