Everytime I run a paint program this pops up! Please help me...I use Windows 98 SE

I've had a similar problem before -- try this and see if it helps.

Close any instance of paint you may have open.

Make sure you have a good backup of your Registry.

Click on Start>Run Type in Regedit and press enter. Navigate to this key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\Paint

Click once on the word Paint in the left hand column to highlight it. Press Delete Key.

Choose Yes when prompted and then close Regedit. Open Paint -- in Win98se it is usually located at Start>Programs>Accessories>Paint.

It should now load up with it's default settings. If you still get the error you may have to re-install Paint.exe
from your Win 98 disk.

Give this forum some feedback on whether you were successful or not.
