Runtime error 13 type mismatch

I know this error is listed on here already but the different strings didnt answer my specific problem.

I am not very experianced with VB so if I havent given enough information please ask for more.

On windows XPsp2 just uninstalled Office 2000 (pro) and installed Standard 2000 all patches (licensing issue).

Running RBCA Tool Kit which still works with some Excel files but on at least 2 I am getting the above error.

Run the RBCA select get data option and select the file then this error occurs.

I have searched the internet and found many instances of this error but none that seem to relate to RBCA. I am asking here as the company we bought the RBCA tool kit from charge $50 a query and I would rather not reinstall just yet.

Nope done that didnt make any difference.

Looks like a reinstall then.
