Right now, I have two Definity G3si PBX's that I use ASA over the IP network to administrate and will soon have a G3r added. I would like have ASA up for each of these, but so far I've not been able to figure out how to do that. If I have ASA running and try to start another session, it closes down the first one. I've tried making copies of the .exe file and config files but that doesn't work either. If I want to switch to the other PBX I have to close the active window, switch to that system in the selection box and then restart the emulator session.

Of those that run more than one PBX (and those that run a whole lot of them), do you start up your ASA for each one seperately or do you have a way to be able to get into multiple ones at the same time? It would also be handy when I'm comparing configurations between the two PBX's to have the ASA up side by side. Right now I have two computers and I have ASA up on each of them with the monitors side by side.

Any suggestions on how to do this?

Thanks

Mike

Running a single instance of ASA on my desk top while others run on other desktops is not a problem. But I can't run more than one instance of ASA on my desktop, even if I used a seperate login. As soon as I start a new instance, it just switches to the one that is already active.

I have one instance of ASA running. I can access 12 PBX's. If necessary multiple logins to the same PBX. And multiple PBX's at the same time. On the menu bar setup new voice system.

Hope this make sense

1a2 to ip I seen it all

I can access either one of my PBX's or my Audix voice mail from the ASA, but I can't run all of them at the same time. Unless I'm over looking something in ASA (which is intirely likely).

Do you have multiple windows open so you can run several of those 12 PBX's at the same time, Ed? Or do you have to close one before you open another window to log in?

If I can have multiple windows in the same ASA, that would be just as good as being able to run multiple ASA's.

Gee whiz, I said I was probably over looking something. Ed, you helped me out. I minimized the window I had open on the one PBX and did a Ctrl E to start another emulator window and was able to select another PBX and log onto it. I never thought of doing that as I always run it maximized within the ASA window.

Thanks a lot for pointing me in the right direction, Ed. I really appreciate it.

Mike

Blight, that is probably what you were trying to tell me too. Thanks.

Mike

Control-TAB will let you flip through your different terminal sessions without constantly minimizing/maximizing each emulator screen.

That's good to know, CL. Much quicker than clicking on the Window tab or having them minimized so I can see both windows. Thanks.
