Running exe's from within a cf template 1

look in the javascript (or html & css ? or web designer ?) forum - i know this question has been asked and answered recently, and as it's not a cf problem, the solution should apply to you as well

Hey Marc,
In CF 4.5, there's now a <cfexecute> tag which allows you to execute applications and dos commands. Prior to 4.5, there were a few custom tags which allowed you to do this as well. This runs the application on the server and not the client's machine.
