running excel marcos from vb

Being new here, Hello,

Trying to access a pre-existing Excel file, hide a range of records, except one, then display in an OLE data control.
I tried using two VB functions in Excel, one to hide the range of rows and another to show the specifc row. I got this to work fine, but I can not figure out how to call these from an external VB application.

Help please, Benny
