Running Cisco VPN Client behind MS Proxy 2.0

Hi guys

We are undertaking a joint venture with another company, and the staff woking at our business require access to the other companies Intranet. They provide access using Cisco vpn client, but I have had no luck using that software with Proxy 2.0.

Has anyone effectively had this cisco client software run behind proxy 2.0 before? I believe ISA server 2000 + will do the job - so is it time for us to upgrade?

I think you'll need winsock proxy client...

Been there done that from my PC - have also installed Cisco VPN client on the server that provides internet access and it still will not bypass the proxy.

Did you grant yourself "unlimited access" through winsock proxy service access control?

Ho, you may also have to adjust your mspclnt.ini to include your application and the ports required. See the others entries for the exact format.

OK - still no good.
Have basically given up on Proxy - I have read in a few places that it will not allow what I am doing.

What I am trying to achieve now is bypassing proxy all together for these couple of guys that require access. Setup is below:

Staff PC (192.168.1.231) (static - for now as a test)
|
Server2 (internal nic: 192.168.1.11)
(external nic: 192.168.0.2)
|
ADSL modem
(internal ip: 192.168.0.1)
(external ip: z.z.z.z)

Can anyone help me with what is required to get these guys bypassing the proxy server?
