Hi,

I'm trying to do a live data view on a asp page with testing server being IIS 5 and db as SQL Server 2000.

But when i try to run the live data view i get the following error:

Open the localhost home page, and then look for links to the information you want.
HTTP 500.100 - Internal Server Error - ASP error

That's my last exam, SQL, and I will be MCSE. SO, I have just an idea about what is there.
As I know accessing the SQL server must accomplished via a known account by the SQL. Is it that accont defined? Also looking on the name of your user I can see tha is the default account for anonymous access to your IIS.
RBM-FMXT7JL0UZZ should be the name of your machine then.
Also as a security issue, the fact that your SQL server is accessed via IIS with an anonymous connection means impersonation.

Well,... i hope that will be a starting point for you. When I will finish the book,... I will know the answer. :)) Gia Betiu
