I am running Win2k pro, SP4, all updates, and my system is VERY stable. I very rarely have to reboot at all....knock on wood......

My first problem when I run Adobe Gamma for screen calibrations I get the error:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Porogram: C:\WINNT\system32\rundll32.exe
abnormal program termination
<click ok>

I have tried reinstalling Photoshop 7 twice, to no avail.

(sorry about the double post, but I need to fix this!!)

My second problem is in Add/Remove Programs, I cannot remove the program "PCCillian 2000" I have upgraded to 2003 and I have already removed 2000, but it still shows up in the Add/Remove screen. If I click REMOVE it starts to remove it and then says FATAL ERROR.....

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!

Before you start playing with the registry, make sure you back it up first.

It will be easier for you to download a software that lets you delete start up registry entries rather than removing them manually. Try using this, it's a free trial, use it and then remove it if you like
All you have to do is go to the start up tab and select the items that you want to remove, do the same for the programs, once you are finished, go to tools\registry clean up\do them all. This should take care of your orphaned registry entries. Hope this helps.
