Hello

How to separate two processes on multiple IE windows.

I have two applications and need to run those two on different IE windows and it should not clash each other.

The ActiveX in between these two processes is causing the error. So I need to separate the process with two IE Shortcuts on my desktop and execute seperately.
Using WinXP

Request your help.
Thanks in advance.

Can you separate them by using Fast User Switching and two different logins?

Virtual Machines might be a way to go?

Different Browsers?

Have you spoken to the people who created the ActiveX to see if they have any ideas?

Hello,

The easiest way to do this is to edit the properties of the shortcut to force each one to open its own IE process.

You can do this by having each shortcut's url or Target field read "iexplore but without the quotation marks, thus forcing each shortcut to run its own IE process.
