What I want to do is: After I refresh my BO report (which is on request, so can't use scheduled tasks) I then want some code to automatically run a macro in an Access 2000 database.

Is this possible? If so, is this possible without actually opening the Access Database.

Hope this makes sense.

Cheers Aaron

maybe - depends on how the database is set up. You may use VBA code to control Access from BO. There is an "After_Refresh" event in BO that can be used to trigger code which will run an Access macro - whether you can do that without physically opening the database, I don't know but you can almost certainly write the code to make it look like the database hasn't been opened...

Rgds, Geoff

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.
