Does Crystal report have a COM component which contains
methods to run a stored procedure in MS SQL 7?

Thanks.

You can use a stored procedure as the data source to a Crystal Report.

Thanks. However, I don't see any stored procedures once
I chose a data source. I only see tables and views.
(I am using Crystal report 8.0.1). How can I see stored
procedures? Thanks.

Are you using a DSN to connect to your database? If so, when you create a new report and click on the database button, select the ODBC option. There is a button here which is called "options". Click on the check box beside stored procedures. This will allow you to view the stored procedures as well. If you don't see them right away, you may have to close out of Crystal reports and open it up again.

You can also go under file - options and click on the database tab which will display the same options and allow you to select stored procedures.

Hope this helps.

Thank you very much for your help!! I am a casual user
of Crystal report. This is my first time to post
