Hi All,

I'm in the process of Setting up SecuRemote. I'm able to make the connection to my remote firewall.
However how do I setup the rule to give access to any resources behind the firewall.
I'm running checkpoing NG AI in Simplified Mode.

Thanks for any input.

Also how do I get the firewall to assign an IP address to the remote user. I turn on DHCP on the remote access of the Firewall object, but the client does not get an IP address. Do I have to create a rule?

Thanks again for any input.

We use office mode to give out IP addresses (for this you need to use SecureClient though). I am just in the proces of setting up DHCP so I will know more when I am finished. If you suspect packets are being dropped analyse your tracker logs. You don't need to allow access to ALL resources behind the Firewall, just the ones required. You do need to setup the relevant desktop policy though, if you use SecureClient otherwise the requests will be blocked at the client end!

Qhwn you set up the rules ensure that you have the Remoteaccess group (or which ever group you are using) defined in the VPN column. Set up a rule for every requirement (e.g. VPN_Group, Corp_Network, Remote Access, ANY, Log).

Good luck!

Rob
