Hi there,
I have a Windows 2003 member server acting as a Demand Dial Routing and Remote Access Server.
Everything is set up fine, however the problem relates to the "Internal interface" IP address. When the RRAS service is started it gets its IP address (correctly) from the DHCP server. As soon as a remote access client connects and sends traffic this address changes to a 192.168.x.x /16 address. Event id 1007 is logged along the lines of "Your computer has automatically configured the IP address for the Network Card with network address <MAC address>. The IP address being used is <ip address within the 169.254.0.0 range>. "
The server only has 1 NIC.
This means that remote access clients cannot browse the internal LAN at all...
Any clues why this is happening ?
