Hello,
I am newbie at rras (and whole of server administration too).
I run a small network domain I would like to connect to the internet and share the connection. I tried to setup my server as an 'internet server' in the rras dialog.
The problem is my usb modem is not detected as a nic, so I am not able to select it in order to activate rras on its connection. Would I need to use only a rj45 device ? My modem is recognized as nic according to the device manager (atm connection, native mode).
ICS is not an issue as it conflicts with my dns and dhcp instances. The only thing I have achieved was tricking the active directory by setting up ics on one of the network's clients, but, as it is tricky, I would prefer to follow the classical way.
Could someone point me to the right direction ?
Thanks for posting.
