I am trying to add a new domain controller in a seperate domain in the same forest.I can manage both from the new one but, the forest root wont manage the new domain. It gives me either server is nonoperational or no RPC server.I was wondering if there was a way to find or fix this?I am not able to add the trust to the other domain until the RPC server is started or found.
I cant even replicate it gives a naming error.

I have it done thanks all anyways.
It was a matter of setting up a forward lookup zone BEFORE the promo of the new domain.
