Hi all. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

I had RPC over HTTP all set up and working. Made users very happy. Then I installed Exchange 2003 SP1, and I cant get it to work to save my life.

Any ideas about what SP1 might have changed? Originally I did the manual set up for RPC over HTTP (registry changes, etc). Worked great.

Thanks again!

Have you verified that the firewall has not enabled itself or is configured correctly.

I installed it the other day to some test servers on which the firewall service had never been enabled, after the reboot I was unable to remote console in and had to put the crash cart on each of the server, only to find the firewall had turned itself on every interface.

The firewall is in Windows 2003 SP1 not Exchange 2003 SP1.

If it doesn't leak oil it must be empty!!

I take it all back, you wrote Exchange 2003 sp1, I read windows 2003 Sp1... It must be friday :)

LOL.

Yes. Thank God it's Friday. :)

But any input is better than none. So thank you.
