Is there any way to route calls back out a PRI without the UDP option enabled? I have a G3 V11 that does not have UDP turned on, so I am trying to figure out a way to route specific extensions out the PRI which ties my Definity to a Cisco VoIP gateway. Inbound calls work fine coming from the Cisco, but outbound from the Definity to the Cisco give me a fast busy. I have a route-pattern setup and am using the same COR as my main PRI's.

Any tricks or hints would be greatly appreciated!!

You should call Avaya or your BP. UDP should have be turned on for all R11's....free of charge. You would then setup your AAR table, etc...

In the future everything will work...

You can do remote coverage or vctoring as an option. Create an 'x'ported station with a new coverage path. In the coverage path make the first point a remote cover. Do a 'change coverage remote' and add the appropriate phone number to route to. You could also create a VDN and a route-to step in a vector to get the call out of your switch (if you have vectoring).

Thats the trick... I don't have vectoring either, and I can't remote-cover because I have no phone number to forward the calls to on the Cisco.

The only time I see a call actually get directed to the Cisco is when I use the trunk access code TAC. But then I get dialtone and haven't figured out what to do then... Any way to remote cover onto the TAC/Ext on the Cisco?

You could setup your ARS with something like "200" so when you dial 9200 from the switch, it would point to that trunk. Then you could use call forwarding off of an ext to push it over to 9200. Make sure your COS allows "off net call forwarding" though.

like NX01 says, UDP comes with R11 by default, i'd demand to get that turned on..
