Is there a way that I can restrict all users from dialing an internal number using AC1 (ie my extention is 3060, and someone for some reason were to dial 91847...) so that it does not go out to the local CO than back in?
A problem came up today where I had a user stating that he attempted to conference in a coworker and then after that call was established he conferenced in a number outside our switch. He then dropped the call and said the call would not stay up.
I recently found out that if someone were to externally dial an internal DN that it would go out to the local CO then back in. I beleive I was at a site where they were able to restrict that and route the call as if it were internal. Can this be done or am I thinking of something different
Thank you all in advance.
