On an IPO R6, is there a way to route inbound calls by the calling parties area code/CID? I have a tech support company that wants to setup separate queues for their customers located in different parts of the country. All their customers would need to dial the same toll free number, so separating them by giving each region a different toll free is not an option here.

Thanks.

Yes, use the incoming CLI field in the incoming callroute.
This can be the area code.
When there is a match then route it to whatever you want.

Sure, for example if I wanted to route calls from Newcastle(UK) to a certain group I would do the following:

Incoming number: *
Incoming CLI: 0191XXXXXXX
Destination: Newcastle group

That will route calls to any DDI from a newcastle CLI to the relevant group :-)

Thank you, I never noticed that field!

No one would call that number Andy - no one in Newcastle can afford to make calls. ;-)

When they go up North that far then they are on an expedition to the north pole Andy :-)
Nobody else will go there where you live for any other reason :-)

I should have been born a little bit more to the south either,
I am always cold.
