Router not booting Up

Hi guys, i have just bought a cisco 2501 router and it shows following when turned ON:

use the lost password recovery procedure and see if there is a IOS on it. If not use xmodem to apply an IOS. You can find information at

http://www.cisco.com.

Where did you buy it from?

Thanks buddy, I will definitely try it after learning how to do it on the site you have suggested. I bought it on ebay.
