Router lags in game

I opened my ports for medal of honor, and i got a program like gamespy that can view servers in a list, it shows the severs ping, its around 90, thats good, so i join the game and its so laggy, i cant do anything, i have no idea what's going on, when i plug my comp into a hub instead, its fine...so whats wrong with the router

I'm not sure if your router has something funky going on, but a router(a layer 3 device) has more 'lag' time built into it than a hub(layer 1 device).

Even so, it shouldn't provide a too much of a difference. Double check your ports, accesslists.
