I would like to establish 4 digit dialing between the CM5.1 and CME but not exactly sure how to configure the RP. Both CM5.1 and CME router can ping each other.

have you tried an ICT (intercluster trunk) with the CME router?

We are using H323. I added the CME H323 gateway to the CM and created a RP 78XX, now I 4 digit dialing from CM phones to CME phones but not vice-versa. How do i setup the CME gateway to communicate w/ the phones reqistered to the CM? If possible, I want the CME to be stand-alone to avoid further upgrade/re-configuration of the CUE voicemail.

Assuming CCM extensions are 56XX

dial-peer voice 22 voip
destination pattern 56..
session-target ipv4:<ip address of CCM>
forward digits 4

Should be close. Doing this from memory.
