Route outgoing Email through internet Email

I am migrating our email to off site pop accounts from exchange 5.5. I have outlook working correctly getting Email from both exchange and the pop account.

I need to have all email sent use the Internet Email service set up on the user's machine and still recieve email on both systems for a few months. Currently the recieve works great however all outgoing email is being sent from exchange

Hope this makes sense
