CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW THE ROUT PICKS THE MESSAGE TO BE PLAYED IN THE INTERALIA VOICE ANNOUNCER.THE ROUTE IS IS IN THE ACD GROUP THEN GOES TO INTERALIA. CAN'T PICTURE THE DIAGRAM OF WAY IT WORKS. ANY INFO. THANKS

FRRT is the route number for the first RAN, FRT is the number in seconds in which it plays.

SRRT is the 2nd RAN route, SRT in the number of seconds in between it repeating.

The route is (probably) built on a Universal Trunk Card, and that is cross connected to your Interalia. To find the TN's of that route, go to LD 21 and type LTM. At ROUT put in the route of the RAN.

WHEN IT'S CROSS CONNTECTED TO THE INTERALIA 110 BLOCK, HOW DOES IT KNOW THE RIGHT MESSAGE TO PLAY. THERE'S 3 MESSAGES PROGRAMMED ON THE INTERALIA. I KNOW THERE'S AA ACCESS CODE (ACOD)DOES PLAY A ROLE. THANKS

Each message port on the Interalia is cross connected to a TN (or group of TN's) on a Universal Trunk Card. Those TN's on the trunk card are combined together to make a route. Those are defined in the RDB as RAN Routes.

It knows which message to play by the route number you enter into the FRRT or SRRT in the ACD block.

SO EACH PAIR ON THE INTERALIA BLOCK REPRESENTS A MESSAGE PORT THEN CROSSCONNECTED TO UNIVERSAL TRK. I'VE THINK I GOT IT.

Yes. But a single port on the interalia my be connected to several ports on the trunk card.

Though the NTP's don't specify, if they're like Music routes, they can play to 29 simultaneous listeners, and require at least one per network group. Though, don't quote me on that.

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP, NOW I GOT A BETTER UNDERSTANDING HOW RAN ROUTES WORK. THANKS FOR HELP BREW. TDOG
