Rounding up and down

I have a data base for doing inventories . When I enter a number in it rounds it up or down. For example when I enter 3.5 it will round down and when I enter 3.6 it rounds up. I would like for it to do neither. How do I stop it from rounding.
Any help is greatly appericated

It sounds as if you have the type set as an integer. Change it to Single. Larry De Laruelle
