root password recovery -- HOW?

PPL.
I need to recover root and enable password on cisco3600.
Everywhere they decribe the procedure of recovering "enable secret" pass,but not one for logging into cisco.
How should i change it?

Honestly, if you follow the recovery setup you will be able to change all password levels.

When you follow the recovery procedure you gain full enable access to the platform without any passwords being entered. From that point you enter config mode and can change any details you want, i.e. all passwords but still keep the remaining config.

Or, how to banish Satan from Cisco...
Steps to password recovery:
1. Power cycle the router.
2. Banish Satan by sending a BREAK within 60 seconds.
3. From ROM mode, change config register to 2142.
4. Reboot router.
5. Get into Priv Exec (enable) mode.
6. Load up config with "copy start run".
7. Change password and reset config-register to 2102.
8. Save config with "copy run start" and reload.
