ROOT HUB HELP

hi....im having trouble with my root hub.....i think it might be broken and i dont know how to fix it......i phoned a technical guy and he didnt even know how......weve tryed everything....when i right click my computer and look at the root hub icon there is a yellow exclamation mark...ive tryed refreshing it, and doing EVERYTHING. I can no longer run my webcam, my joystick, and or controller.....GAAAAHHHHRRRRR.......please help a.s.a.p

You don't say exactly what the error message is. Is it "The NTKERN.VXD device loader(s) for this device could not load the device driver (code2)"?

If so, the thread I started the other day may be of interest, but probably won't sort the problem:
thread602-266517 on another forum site I found some stuff saying that it is a common problem with Win98SE, and that to fix it you have to get hold of a copy of Win98 and copy a few files over. Details at:
