Rommon mode

I have a 1720 modular router that seems to be stuck in rommon mode. Also, I get the following errors, "no valid magic number" "no flash

Without flash, either built in or in the form of a PCMCIA card the router cannot fully load its software image, which is why you are stuck in ROMMON mode. You need to confirm the existence of flash by "show flash" command. This should show you the image currently installed,

I would look at the flash and do a system recovery adding a new IOS from rommon.
