I have only these

-rw-r----- 1 oracle oinstall 98304 May 28 00:19 ora_spfile_591581979_s2482_s1
and no crosscheck, no delete expired , no delete obsolete no nothing works as it should( to mark the nonexisted files as expired, or delete the physical files on the disk).
What worries me is that I dont get any errors when I run the commands.
Dont ask me if I have the permissions.Yes I do.
The guy before me was deleting the files manualy and not inside rman. Now I have to deal with this some way.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

perl,

to help us help you, could you type 'archive log list' at the sql prompt and post the result for us.

Also, could you do a 'show all' in RMAN and post the result.

My first thoughts are that maybe the obsolete archive log files are somewhere other than where they're supposed to be.

perluserpengo,

Check your CFRKT and your CONFIGURE RETENTION POLICY TO RECOVERY WINDOW OF n DAYS (default 1) values.

Thanks,
