Rls 6. Element Manger. 1

Hi. Setting up my 1st Rls 6 in the Lab. Option 61c. HP Servers.

I have 3 servers. UCM installed and EM,SS,NRS apps deplyed to them.

Trying to create my 1st Node. But I always get "Failed (unable to connect to server.)" Nortel Knowledge base says to re-create secure FTP token. I have done that. I am not using DNS, but I have edited the hosts file on each server so it has names/IPs of the other servers.

Anybody got a pointer for me. Sure I have just missed something silly.

Before you can register the node, all elements must be registered to your secure domain.

Have you defined your Primary Security Server, and registered any elements to the security domain?

I have. But tempted to remove and re-apply.

Are all your servers registered to the security domain, including the call server?

Had nor registered the call server.

Discovered a point to note. Do NOT use a ! in your password or you will not be able to register the call server.
