Rls. 25.40B, Any Comments?

I have been told that 25.40b is a free upgrade to anyone that has 25.xx. Is this accurate information I'm receiving. What do you guys know about this. Has this rls. been out for a while? Thank you for the help,

25.40b is a maintenance fix for 25.40. The reason it came out is to correct an SNMP security hole. A few of the 25.40 patches were incorporated in this release, but it is basically the same as 25.40. That oarticular release is stable with the right patches. --

well I'll I know is that one of my tech support engineers down at our Verizon NOC center told me that even if I had 25.15 that I could get the free up grade to 25.40b. I am having problems with this rls. with room phones dialing to the front desk(MCR'd 3904's)and the desk says hello and knowone is there, the same is true for the caller.The caller thinks they have been hung up on. I have traced the call and it shows the call terminating to the front desk DN.I have fdlf'd the phones and upgraded the pswv on the switch. Do you have any thoughts about this kind of trouble.Oh, and I have made sure the called party has picked up and transfered in the propure sequience. ie they are also having trouble transfering calls from the same sets of DN's.
