Here is the scoop. We are using RIS to deploy Win2K to HP Vectra VL420s, Compaq EVO D510 EPCs, and Compaq EVO D510 / D530 SFFs. I have changed riprep.sif in the image's directory to reflect the resolution that I would like.
[Display]
ConfigureAtLogon = 0
BitsPerPel = 32
XResolution = 1024
YResolution = 768
VRefresh = 60
AutoConfirm = 1
The PCs have the following video adapters:
EPC - Intel 82845G
SFF – Intel 82865G
VL420 – Some ATI adatper that I forget right now.
Now for the issue – The VL420 comes up in the correct resolution, the EPC comes up in 800x600, and the SFF comes up in 640x480. All of the adapters install correctly and can handle the settings if I manually set them. We are looking at reimaging 1000+ PCs and the less I have to do to each one the better.
