Can anyone help answer my query.

I have installed RIS and everything would appear to be set up correctly. The problem begins when I try to boot a pxe compliant machine - Dell OPtiplex with 3Com 3c905b NIC, I am using the RBFG.exe utility to create a boot disk and yet I can not get the machine to see the RIS Server. The error that i am receiving on the client is:

Error: Can't resolve IP address 10.0.1.10
Press any key to reboot system

- this is an independant test network

The network is running AD, the RIS server is the AD box and therefore authorised for DHCP, I have entries in the DNS for the RIS server, I can ping the RIS Server by name and IP from another client on the network.

I'm getting a little frustrated now as I had everything working, inadvertantly buggered it and am now trying to reinstall but can not seem to get past this error.

Any help appreciated or pointers to any sites dedicated to discussing the RIS services on W2K.

Cheers
