I have an existing W2k3 RIS server that was working fine with my W2k DHCP server. I have now installed a new W2k3 DHCP server. The DHCP part works as it should, but I cannot get the RIS boot disk to work on a client. I get the 'no reply from a server' error.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

Have you tried making a new RIS boot disk?
Have you tried making sure your RIS server is still authoirzed to serve DHCP clients?

Yes to the new boot disk.

I have tried to 'authorize' the RIS server in the DHCP mmc. It adds the server, but I get the red X.

I restarted the Remote Install service on the RIS server.

Still no go.

I solved it. I had to open AD U&C from the RIS server, then 'verify' the RIS server from the Remote Installation tab. That also authorized it in DHCP. Thanks!
