I've got it setup and running, BUT, the image I'm testing with is 2.7 GB, and its taken 1 hour up till now to copy the files across to the PC being imaged.

Anybody got any tips or hints, I'm going to make sure I'm running 100mb full duplex at the switch as soon as it finishes then try again and see if I can beat my record time of 1 hour +
lol

Do you guys usually get rid of any un-needed files before distributing the image?

I use RIS for my XP clients. I made a XP image with all my drivers and settings as I want. That takes about 25 minutes to load to a new machine. I then made GPO's to install the rest of my software once they login. Such as Office, Mapped drives, and Printers. Works very well for me. Im using a 10mb lan too.

Hi,

I can't seem to get GPO's pusshing out apps.

I've created a test OU and assigned office 2000 to the OU I've created a test account and Machine in there but it won't pickup any network apps under add/remove programs.

I've shared the folder and copied office 2000 across.

help?

how did you assign office to the OU? Did you publish it or assign it? You should have created an office admin share first, then create an answer file. You then can assign office to the OU.
